What a difference the people you work with everyday can have on the spirit of the day. I work with some of the greatest associates (a.k.a paraeducators, paraprofessionals, teaching assistants, aides, etc). These women offer great insight to many of the students that I work with. They also have the ability to make me laugh and are supportive in a variety of classroom settings (special education, general education, exploratory). In addition, they do this on minimal pay. These women also keep up with academic curriculum to assist students and work to help meet IEPs as required by law.
Thank an associate when you get a chance!
